Christchurch is a great family area, with several areas seemingly attractive to those retiring. Encompassing Mudeford, Purewell and others, it has something for many.
The centre has a brilliant market every Monday. There are great places to eat, drink and socialize. The infamous Captain’s Club is a brilliant upmarket hotel with a great restaurant and bar. The award winning Splinters restaurant is our favourite place to eat as the food is outstanding.
Christchurch Quay is a nice place to have an ice cream, a little boat ride and to relax.
Christchurch Harbour is truly beautiful. You get a great experience of the harbour from Mudeford Quay. Best of all is to nip over Christchurch Harbour entrance on the ferry and spend the day at one of the best beaches in the area, Mudeford Spit. You can buy a beach hut here, but the better one’s are now fetching circa £150,000.
So whether you’re after a retirement bungalow, a swanky flat or a decent family home, Christchurch will definitely have plenty of wonderful options for you.
