We’re in the property business, but it’s all about the people. The people move, but the houses do not.
Not everyone gets an easy ride when trying to move. This family went through many challenges, and helping in these circumstances is incredibly rewarding.
By the time I’d popped around for a cup of tea and a chat, the seller had already been through a lot. 2 agents, some lost deals, some painful experiences when trying to buy and ultimately, some maybe not brilliant decisions made.
Back at square 1, we had to re-focus, improve the home’s marketing and come up with a simple but effective plan and, ultimately, the client the move they’d spent nearly two years trying to achieve.
The result was one of success. I want to say it was easy, but it wasn’t. Getting a client moved rarely is when you want it done well.
Twenty-five viewings later and the sellers had accepted a great offer. We then had the challenge of helping the client find a new home.
Having been told by an agent, “If you don’t sell with us, we won’t show you homes we have for sale,” they bought a home through the said agent.
It’s one thing deciphering agent lingo, let alone the games they play. This sale is an undoubted success story—one to be proud of.
