I know we all had an inkling this may happen, but it looks like the wheels are now in motion for a three-month extension…. Woohoo!
So what does this mean for those of you moving home at the moment? Firstly, I think we’ve got some breathing room for deals that were struggling to get over the line. This is great news for those pushing their solicitors and finding it difficult. A sigh of relief I’m sure is to be felt by many. Those that chanced their arm in the last few weeks that this could happen are also in luck as the likelihood of getting done in time have increased hugely.
Are we going to see people now pulling the trigger on moving in the hope of getting it done in the next 4 months? I think yes. No matter if it’s right or not, people will go for it. And why not? It’s been a crazy enough year as it is, why not add some more to it with a home move?
